So much for a $300 repair bill. I knew the water pump was going bad (which would of cost around $450 to replace) but the radiator also had a crack in it and the hoses in between were getting soft. That's not to unexpected since the truck has over 180K miles on it. After all was said and done the bill came to almost $1000. I need to start playing the lottery but with this kind of luck I would just be throwing money down the drain.

Everything is falling apart right now. OK.. nothing everything but it sure feels that way. A couple of weeks ago the dishwasher decided it was going on strike. That's not such a big deal because I'm pretty sure it's one of the biggest energy hogs in the house and it's not that hard to do dishes by hand (although the kids always manage to not put their dishes in the sink so that they don't have to wash them).
Now the 4-Runner is deciding that it can't hold its water. OK.. it can't hold its radiator fluid because I think the water pump has gone bad. Hopefully I can get it fixed for under $300 but this puts getting a new dishwasher on hold for another month or so. I was so hoping to start to get out of debt but I guess that will have to wait too.

The holidays are finally over but the kids are still out of school so the house is still wild 24/7. I'm sick at the moment (stayed home from work yesterday) and I was up at 3 am trying to quiet the dogs because they were barking at the children (two of my step children and a neighbor spending the night) who were up playing games and being kids. I have no problem with kids being kids but please do it at normal hours. School starts again next week so these late nights have got to end!!

Finally the Blog is up and running. Since I was playing around with PHP on my other sites I figured I would try the changes on this one and what do you know... it works!!! Who knows what I'll do with this blog. What's really the point?
